With a mission to create Kick-Ass Comedy using Kick-Ass Talent for Kick-Ass People, Defiance Comedy has been lighting up the stage with laughter and originality since 2012. Our expanding catalogue boasts 73 original productions, including 23 innovative titles, and our presence in the IndyFringe scene has been significant with 10 shows, 9 of which were Top 10 sellers. We take pride in not only our creative work but in supporting our creative workforce, ensuring that all of the talented local cast and crew members we’ve employed over the past decade (over 100!) were compensated for their artistry. Their efforts have created memorable experiences for our audience as evidenced by the 1,689 tickets sold from our last four productions alone. With each show averaging $5000 in production costs, we are committed to investing in the quality of our works. As we plan 2-3 shows each year, we invite you to share in our journey this Giving Tuesday.
